The Advanced Visa System of the country has introduced a new entry permit called the job seeker visa, also known as the job exploration visa. It aims to attract skilled professionals and young talents to explore the job opportunities available in the country. The UAE’s latest visa regulations state that the job exploration visa, along with other entry visas, can now be obtained for either single or multiple entries. These visas will remain valid for 60 days from the date of issuance and can be renewed for similar periods.

To provide ample time for job seekers to explore opportunities in the UAE job market, the job seeker visa will be available in three validity options: 60, 90, and 120 days. This means that job seekers will have approximately four months to search for suitable job openings in the country.

If an applicant meets the following criteria, they can be granted the job seeker visa without the need for a sponsor or host:

• Classified under the first, second, or third skill level as determined by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation

• Holds at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education
• Has graduated no more than two years prior to the year of application.
